God and His Law Are Just

Isa 45:20-21 NLT
"Gather together and come, you fugitives from surrounding nations. What fools they are who carry around their wooden idols and pray to gods that cannot save! 21 Consult together, argue your case, and state your proofs that idol worship pays. Who made these things known long ago? What idol ever told you they would happen? Was it not I, the LORD? For there is no other God but me — a just God and a Savior — no, not one!

Let that sink in. Read it a few more times if you have to. What in this world made by man can truly save us and determine where we wind up after death? Definitely nothing made by man. This battle won’t be won by flesh or things made by it. It will be won by the truth in the spiritual realm. The truth is that Jesus already won it for us by beating Satan, taking the keys of hell, and making sure we don’t have to receive the death we deserve.

Rom 3:26 NLT
And he is entirely fair and just in this present time when he declares sinners to be right in his sight because they believe in Jesus.

We are all sinners. We have all done things against God whether we believe in Him or not. However, we will not be judged by our nature if we accept Jesus Christ by repenting of what we did wrong. Then when God looks at us He will see Jesus instead of us. Thus we can walk into heaven.

Rom 7:11-12 NLT
Sin took advantage of the law and fooled me; it took the good law and used it to make me guilty of death. 12 But still, the law itself is holy and right and good.

This section of Romans keeps coming up in this study. That is because the Law will tell us what is good or bad if we bother to look at it correctly. We need to understand where we went wrong and that we need help to overcome it before we can even go to Jesus. When we break into repentance for what we did we will be saved. The sinner that is not repentant when telling Jesus he accepts Him is only giving lip service.

God gave us a free will to decide how we will live. He gives us our whole life to determine which way we will go. We have no idea how long we will be here in this temporal life, but at the end of it where you wind up for eternity will have been your choice based on how you chose when still alive.

Think about where you want God to put you for eternity. If you are still debating, I urge you to do your own research comparing the options out there for eternity, but don’t take too long. I know I’m glad I figured this out and chose Jesus. I thank Him for giving me the time to do so and further time to grow in understanding Him so I can share what I know with you.
